“Being at SMP Ghana camp was an experience that really showed me how powerful our continent is. Just the magnitude of quality in Artists and how high the calibre was amazing to be a part of. The music that was made was nothing short of excellence. I loved being there” - Daecolm

Daecolm’s invitation to this camp is another impressive feather to his already decorated cap. Earlier this week the American organisation - The NAACP (The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) announced the nominees for the 2023 edition of their Image Awards where Daecolm received 2 nominations for his writing on The Grammy-nominated Chris Brown album - Breezy.

The Sony camp was a very inspiring and a memorable experience, getting to work with powerful artists from all over Africa is something I’ve always wanted to do. A lot big records were made and I am really excited for the world to hear what everybody made. - Rymez

Rymez is also enjoying an incredible run having just secured collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Popcaan, Bugzy Malone and more. Rymez also secured 2 production credits on Winky D’s recently released Eureka album for Shaker and Peter Friend.

Rymez is no stranger to collaborative writing camps as he last spearheaded the Pungwe Sessions writing camp with Point Black in Harare

Both artists are set to release a slew of new music in the coming year.
