Not many of us know exactly what we want to be at a tender age, but this was not the case for Zimbabwe’s most popular and decorated DJ – RayDizz. From an early age of 5, RayDizz remembers always wanting to create, being intentional with his crayon drawings and his love affair with music. His aspirations may have not have been as clearly defined as other children who wanted to be either a policeman or a doctor, but he knew that art and music were going to be the end goal. Growing up, RayDizz ruminates playing with his father’s vinyl collection and being the resident DJ at family braais on Sunday.

“I am a pretty eclectic individual and my influences are a direct reflection of that. My musical influences range from Motown to Stimela; Hip Hop to EDM and this also comes through in my style and designs.”
